i like this attitude of eating..
natural, real, healthy, nutritional
thats the real way of eating,
god made the hard shell to we can put our face into itn eat everything. no plates. may b no spoon...break it more down n u can eat with ur teeth,, but i like ur method too makes me wanna get watermellon in evening n eat like that

I want to see a fruitarian that doesn't do endurance type activities. One that lifts weights and sprints will prove that fruitarians can be muscular and lean.

Durianrider, if youre happy with your diet, stick with it.
But it fails in the long run because people get
1) Anemic
2) Depressed
3) Insulin Resistance
4) orthorexia
5) Social isolation
6) Social disrupt (life will center itself to food)
7) Cravings in long run
These symptoms won't show up in short term and usualy come within 5-15 years.
But the good news is, you can still achieve great health as a vegan. Just get carbohydrates, get good fats and get your vegetables.

The head of the US Humane society who is a physician and vegan speaks about WHY vegan's do not live longer despite both an increase in Vitamins and decrease in certain bad fats. What has been found is that the lack of sufficient B Vitamins (fruit is mostly cellulose and water without starches and suffient protein). The Mediterranean diet was found to be the most healthy alternative diet.

@mctradewind Well, he is low in fat and has an ok build. I wonder how he would stack up against a person of similar build who eats meat. I must say again, it is not just the strength and build that could be severly lacking in vegans, but, nutritionally a vegan diet is imbalanced due to the fact that it avoids the benefits of meat, eggs and dairy.
